Realtor and Broker-in-Charge of Springtree Realty
I'd like to provide a link to this story in the Herald-Sun but frankly I haven't figured out what the HS is doing with their on-line presence. One minute it's sending me a new password for my account which works fine. Two minutes later it's asking me to sign in again and it doesn't work and gives me a message that the account doesn't exist. The link on their home page to their real estate site hasn't worked for quite a while now either. Actually the page (trianglerealestatelink.com) doesn't seem to exist at all anymore. Oh well. We all struggle sometimes with this online stuff.
But we do thank them for the nice picture and the report in Sunday's "Your Community" section about Mangum 506 award of one of the annual Golden Leaf Awards. These awards are presented jointly by the City/County Appearance Committee and Keep Durham Beautiful, Inc. The Golden Leaf Awards were established to "acknowledge and encourage design and maintenance that contribues to the visual beauty, sustainablity and usability of the Durham community."
The design team from Center Studio Architecture in Downtown Durham accepted the award which the judges commented "represents a courageous effort to extend the downtown community and do so with good urban plannin principles"
The design team from Center Studio Architecture comprised of Will Rhodenhiser, David Arneson and Scott Harmon accepted the award.Great new video by Wil Weldon of Growler Productions and Jesse Turner, landscape architect and photographer featuring Scott Harmon and Susana Dancy the developers of the Mangum 506 condos and two of the current owners.
